Congratulations to Danny on his retirement!

A belated congratulations to Danny on his retirement!

A long and incredible career that began as an architect with the Australian Government after graduating from the University of Sydney.

He was the project manager on many projects in the regional centres of New South Wales before making the decision to establish his private practice in 1979. Years of domestic architecture in the waterside suburbs to both the south and north of Sydney followed with a strong emphasis on always achieving a high quality of design and construction.

Larger projects on various university campuses became a focus of the office and Danny joined with George Scoufis to establish Burtenshaw Scoufis Architecure with their team working first in Kyle Bay, then Carlton and eventually at its current location in Alexandria.

A successful sixty years of architectural practice to continue to reflect upon.
