Burtenshaw Scoufis is Migrating to ArchiCAD

Burtenshaw Scoufis Architecture have been using Vectorworks as their primary CAD programme since inception of our architectural practice in the early nineties. The Nemetschek Vectorworks programme has served us well over many years however the arrival of BIM modelling and an increased client demand for high end 3D modelling as well as compatibility with their storage systems has evoked the need for us to move to a more comprehensive and flexible architecturally driven programme to meet our diverse needs in future years.

Our options included Revit, ArchiCAD and AutoCAD and after an intensive review including demonstrations and extensive discussions with peer groups, we concluded that the ArchiCAD programme was the best fit for our practice and our clients.

We have installed new Hewlett Packard workstations throughout our office, and these have been selected for their operating capacity, speed and reliability. We shall retain the capacity to utilise Vectorworks to service current and past projects for as long as the need exists but will commence immediately to migrate to ArchiCAD and the benefits that programme offers.
