Prime Minister Turnbull opens UNSW CQC2T

The Prime minister Malcolm today opened the new CQC2T Quantum Physics laboratory at The University of NSW. Burtenshaw Scoufis were proud to have been the architects for this cutting-edge science facility called the Centre of Excellence for Quantum Computation and Communication Technology. The international team of researchers at this new facility has already made significant strides using silicon as a base for building a working quantum computer, under the leadership of Professor Michelle Simmons, Centre Director. BSA had successfully completed specialist laboratory facilities for a number of Australian Universities and this, together with our proven ability to deliver sensitive and difficult projects on time, was instrumental in us being offered the commission.
