UTS FEIT Botany facility nears completion

The University of Technology FEIT off site facility in Botany is nearing completion. This has been our longest running campus project and at $25 million current build cost has been very demanding on all fronts.

BSA had been commissioned by UTS to design and develop an innovative high-tech research facility for the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) that would provide a facility for a wide range of disparate engineering schools within which interdisciplinary interactions could take place. Workspaces and research areas were designed to be as open and transparent as possible to facilitate collaboration and ideas sharing. This resultant new Technology Hub consists of Innovative Super Labs, flexible workspaces for activity-based working, project spaces and neighbourhoods.
