BSA goes Green!

The Built Environment is currently the world’s single largest contributor to greenhouse gas emmisions, consumes one third of the water and generates 40% of the worlds waste. Burtenshaw Scoufis has consciously been transforming the built environment with careful consideration to environmental efficiency and impact in mind.

The Green Star is an internationally recognised sustainability rating system that offers a framework of best practice benchmarks for buildings. This is a voluntary program that assists in the evaluation of building efficiencies, and provides professional development and training.

Burtenshaw Scoufis have made the continued commitment to sustainable building design, with two additional members to the Green Building Australia Council. Our team members Harry and Veronica will continue to attend Green Star educational courses to develop their knowledge of sustainable design processes and strategies.
